Shepley Engineers Limited was founded in Manchester in the late 1940's and has had a permanent presence at the Nuclear establishment, Sellafield, since that time. In 1948 it was responsible for the installation of stainless ducting systems on the Windscale Reactors, and the early 50s with the commissioning of the world's first commercial nuclear power station at Calder Hall. Current management has been in place since 1982, establishing Shepley as a major contractor. Shepley and its wholly owned complimentary subsidiaries has created a fully integrated and multidisciplined service offering with an excellent track record and reputation.
