The Shepley Group, along with longstanding supplier Thomas Graham, recently came together to support local athletics club, Copeland AC.
The Shepley Group were asked by the club if they could help to provide a weather shelter to protect the clubs high jump mats during the winter months and wet periods.
Copeland Athletics Club is home to approximately 100 members, with the vast majority being local children aged between 7 and 16. The provision of the weather shelter will give these children the opportunity to continue with their athletics training throughout the winter months.
Thomas Graham kindly donated the steel structure and fixings, which were manufactured and installed by Shepley Group apprentices who were supported by supervisors and members of our skilled workforce. The project was managed by Project Management Degree Apprentice, Kayla Horrocks.
