Working closely with a range of clients across a broad portfolio of nuclear facilities and assets, we have developed a proven track record for a safe, cost effective and responsive operational support service. Our work in this area includes routine maintenance as well as major outage work and asset enhancement. Our business model has developed so that we are able to self deliver the key disciplines in the areas of ME&I as well as minor building and civils activity. This has greatly enhanced our flexibility and therefore our ability to respond quickly when operational support becomes a priority. Shepley are established as a major multidisciplined contractor with one of the largest pools of skilled trade resources within the entire UK nuclear programme. We have a very healthy training and development agenda with a large domestic apprenticeship scheme to deal with the future anticipated demands in our sector. We have a vast and proven track record of safe and effective ME&I project delivery across a range of environments and sectors. Shepley have, and continue to be, associated with many of the UK’s major nuclear projects and our group business model provides an integrated self delivery solution including supply, manufacture, installation and final commissioning. Since commencing work on the ducting systems of the Windscale Reactors in 1948, we have been a consistent, major player in the nuclear industry. We pride ourselves on our dedication to our Right First Time performance, and we strive to get all of our staff home safe at the end of every single day. In 2022 we won our 26th consecutive RoSPA Gold Award and received the Highly Commended in the Engineering Services Industry Sector Award. Our performance strives from our culture and ethos, which are a key part of our business. Nuclear engineering.
