The Shepley Group attended this year's Energy Coast UTC open evening last night, represented by our new Project Management Degree Apprentice, Kayla.
Kayla is a former UTC pupil so was able to share her experience of attending the school with the visiting students and parents, and also gave an insight to her recent journey from school to the world of work with Shepley.
Kayla has had a busy start to her apprenticeship, she has enrolled on her degree with University of Cumbria and begun her first work placement at West Cumberland Engineering. Kayla will shortly start her training on the Renew Emerging Talent Programme where she will be joined by other young professionals from the Renew Holdings group of businesses.
The Shepley Group are pleased to support local schools and students, helping to encourage young people to consider a career in engineering.
